CPFT provides a wide range of services for children, young people and their families: universal child health services, pathways for children and young people with mild - moderate - severe mental health problems and care and treatment for children and young people with developmental problems, physical and learning disabilities.The children's service directory pages describe how we can help children, young people and their families, their GPs and other professionals and agencies working with them to optimise their health and well-being.

Peterborough Integrated Children's Health Services
We provide support, advice and health care for children, young people, carers and families. Our services include:

Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)
Children, young people and their families can be referred to our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services from a variety of agencies for assessment, advice and support. We provide a wide range of therapeutic approaches including family therapy, Cognitive behavioural therapy, Group therapy, Psychotherapy and Psycho-education. For more information please visit:
We provide consultation, training and advice for professionals on signs and symptoms of mental health disorders in children and adolescents. We also provide a wide range of community paediatric learning disability services supporting children, young people and their families, and the professionals and organisations working with them including:
Specialist and in-patient CAMH services
We provide a number of specialist and in-patient services for children and young people with severe and enduring mental health problems who have a need for particular interventions, focused work and in patient treatment:
- The Darwin Centre for Young People, Cambridge unit: the main provider of residential care for young people in the East of England
- The Croft Child and Family Unit, Cambridge unit: a unique residential service that provides intensive work with families to quickly achieve beneficial change
- The Phoenix Centre, Cambridge unit: for young people with eating disorders
- CAMH Intensive Support Team. A community-focused team with close links to the Darwin Centre, offering an alternative to hospital admission for young people aged 12-18 years who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health and support for their families.
- The Cambridge Centre for Paediatric Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, Provides assessment, care and treatment for children with acquired brain injury.
